BeInCrypto: It’s time for the magic, Community!

Today we welcome the Co-founder of a new Telegram game Blockchemy, one of the most unusual mini-apps I’ve ever seen, Tamara Korotkikh… Why unusual? Well, you’ll find it out later 😈

Ok, Tamara, let’s start with it 👇

Can you briefly explain the rules of Blockchemy and how players progress in the game?

Tamara: The rules of the game are quite simple. In the world of Blockchemy, there are several types of cards: elements, tools, locations, and NPCs. Cards also have varying degrees of rarity. The higher the rarity, the more complex the card is to create, and there may be a coin fee for its creation.

To create combinations, you need to mix 2 to 5 cards. When making combinations, elements are consumed, and the cards disappear, so you will need to craft or buy them at the auction.

There may be cases where the same combination gives different results, as mixing can lead to failures or, conversely, exceed expectations. For instance, if you plant a seed in the ground, you may grow cucumbers or even strawberries! 🙂 It’s also important to note that some cards, boxes, and crates don’t need to be mixed; they can simply be opened, and perhaps something interesting will fall out.

BIC: What makes Blockchemy unique compared to other blockchain-based and Telegram mini-app games? 👀

Tamara: Blockchemy is not another clicker—it’s about using your logic and creativity to solve puzzles, figure out combinations, and unlock new possibilities. Whether you’re crafting magical elements or finding hidden solutions, every move requires thought and strategy.

In Blockchemy, there is a storyline, characters, and even a soul! 🙂 Additionally, there is a chance to win a real cash prize, which can be influenced by the players themselves. All the cards in the game are NFTs, which can be bought and sold!

BIC: What strategies can help players succeed in the game?

Tamara: First and foremost, we need to move away from the old perception of alchemy games, where you could simply see elements and start moving images around.

In Blockchemy, logic must be involved—put yourself in the shoes of a wizard, and remember: you need to read, read, and read some more! Clues can be found in the card descriptions, social posts, or simply by thinking logically and matching meanings. However, don’t expect an easy victory, as not everything comes easily, and not all combinations will lead to success.

BIC: Does Blockchemy have a native token? If so, what is its primary utility within the game ecosystem?

Tamara: Our in-game token, BLOMY, launched on TON and is already listed on STON.fi—you can start getting it while it is not too expensive!

This coin will allow players to sell and buy cards in our in-game auction and withdraw it into their wallets.

BIC: Can players earn tokens through gameplay, or will they need to purchase them to access certain features?

Tamara: Yes, players will be able to sell their cards for BLOMY and withdraw them to their wallets. Additionally, in some quests, BLOMY will be used as a reward for completing the tasks.

BIC: Will the Blockchemy token be listed on major exchanges, or will it initially be available only on decentralized platforms?

Tamara: Yes, we’ve already applied at STON.fi and CoinMarker Cap. After that, we aim to list on other exchanges, such as Bybit, KuCoin, MEXC, Binance, and others that support the TON network.

BIC: One of the most interesting questions for players 🔥 How does the prize pool work in Blockchemy? Can you share details about its size and how rewards are distributed?

Tamara: The prize pool is initially formed from a percentage of the minted coins and will start at 100,000 BLOMY.

It will then be replenished through a percentage of the auction fees and crafting of rare cards. Players will be able to see all the information about the prize amount and its growth throughout the game.

BIC: Are there different types of rewards apart from monetary prizes, like exclusive game cards or NFTs?

Tamara: Yes, of course! For completing simple and easy quests, players will be able to earn cards of varying rarity, as well as recipe cards. As one of the options, players will be able to sell their cards on the internal auction for in-game currency, as well as sell their cards as NFTs, trade, sell, or even withdraw to the TON wallet.

BIC: Could you share the roadmap for Blockchemy? What are the key milestones for the next year?

Tamara: Oh, we have a lot of plans for this year!

Starting from the expansion of the game world, adding hidden quests and competitions, as well as a system of achievements, and new seasonal events, as well as global ones.

Since we are launching our own BLOMY token along with the game, we plan to promote it in the blockchain world: listings and publications, so players will have more opportunities to interact with our coin.

We also plan to introduce different game add-ons, a kind of game within the game. But more on that later!

BIC: The welcome gift box for the first 10,000 players is a fantastic idea! Can you explain what’s inside these boxes and how the random selection of game cards works?

Tamara: This is a single box containing 100 items of varying types and rarities, ranging from common to rare. It can be obtained by completing the simplest quest, Spark of Creation.

BIC: Is there a way for latecomers to obtain similar rewards, or is the welcome gift box exclusively for early adopters?

Tamara: The welcome gift is intended for the first 10,000 players, but that doesn’t mean that subsequent players won’t receive rewards. We have a system of quests and events in which other players can participate and earn valuable boxes.

Additionally, we can reward especially active participants who engage in our social community.

BIC: Oookay, now let’s move to the questions from the Community!

@hoanmgnamg63 asks: What strategies are in place to maintain player retention over time in the Blockchemy game?

Tamara: We will introduce several engaging features: daily quests to keep players active, weekly box rewards for completing all weekly quests, and story-driven quests to immerse players in the game’s rich narrative. Additionally, nice achievement system allows players to unlock rewards, including cards, BLOMY coins. We put 26% of all tokens for rewards and competitions!

BIC: @luckydraw66: Could you elaborate on the rarity system of the cards in Blockchemy? How does rarity affect gameplay and value?

Tamara: In Blockchemy, the card rarity system includes several tiers: Ordinary, Extraordinary, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythical, and Divine. Players start with Ordinary cards, which already provide the tools to create more significant cards. Rarity is determined by the resources required for crafting and the uniqueness of the card’s concept—cards that demand more resources or hold greater significance tend to have higher rarity. Rare and higher-tier cards may require spending coins, with each card having its own specific cost. This system not only impacts gameplay progression but also adds value to the rarer cards.

BIC: @kenzosa: Can you discuss any plans for cross-platform play or integration beyond Telegram?

Tamara: We plan to implement integration with exchangers to make it more convenient to buy and sell tokens directly within the game, as well as integration with various wallets and NFT platforms for manipulating cards on the external market.

BIC: @ineed688btc: How does Blockchemy address the issue of scalability, considering the limitations of blockchain technology in gaming?

Tamara: Blockchemy tackles scalability by optimizing game mechanics and integrating solutions that minimize blockchain limitations:

Only critical aspects, such as card ownership, trades, and token transactions, are stored on-chain

BIC: @lovebusd123: What unique opportunities do you see for players in terms of ownership and trading of in-game assets?

Tamara: All in-game assets, such as cards and tokens, can be withdrawn to your own external wallet, giving players full ownership. They can keep, sell, or trade their assets independently of the game. Players will buy and sell cards in the auction using BLOMY currency, enabling them to profit from their discoveries and investments. The rarity and demand for specific cards make them valuable, allowing players to strategize and trade for profit.

BIC: @Mamihlapinotopay: When does the token start trading on CEX?

Tamara: The token has already been created. We plan to list it shortly after January 20 at DEX. Stay tuned for updates! We are also working on going to CEX as soon as possible.

BIC: @shilageee: Are there plans to integrate player feedback into future updates, and how can players contribute their ideas to shape the game’s direction?

Tamara: Players can share their ideas, feedback, and suggestions directly through our official channels on Telegram, Twitter, and other platforms. Regular surveys will be conducted to gather opinions on gameplay, features, and upcoming updates. Exceptional ideas that are implemented may earn players in-game rewards like cards or BLOMY tokens as a token of appreciation.

BIC: @crazy8977: What mechanisms are in place to keep the gameplay dynamic and ensure each session feels fresh and exciting for players?

Tamara: As mentioned earlier, we plan to implement a highly dynamic quest system, an achievement system, and new storylines. We are also open to incorporating unique story ideas from our players, provided they bring truly creative and original suggestions.

BIC: @nora_norik: Are you going to add new quests with your partners?

Tamara: Absolutely! Partner quests are part of our upcoming development iterations. These quests will include tasks such as subscribing to our community channels on Twitter, Telegram, and Instagram. Additionally, we’ll occasionally host giveaways of cards and tokens within the community, so it’s definitely worth following and staying tuned for updates and events.

Like follow this and that on X/Twitter and get some cards? It’s one of the easiest ways to get rewards in mini-apps…

BIC: @hypnotickk: Are you planning on adding some kind of referral program so players could benefit from inviting their friends?

Tamara: Yes, we are introducing a referral program that will launch on January 20 and will be structured as a series of quests. Here’s how it works:

For 1 invited friend, the referrer will receive a random Ordinary item from a box.

For 5 invited friends, the referrer will earn an Ordinary item, an Extraordinary item, and 2.5 BLOMY tokens (currently distributed as cards, which can later be exchanged for tokens).

For 50 invited friends, the referrer will receive an Ordinary item, an Extraordinary item, a Rare item, and 25 BLOMY tokens.

To claim rewards for referring 5 or 50 friends, there is an additional requirement: invited friends must complete a new quest that involves creating 10 unique cards. Until these conditions are met, the rewards will remain pending.

BIC: Alright, that’s it! Tamara, thank you for being here today!

Blockchemy is poised to revolutionize the gaming experience with its engaging mechanics and community-oriented approach. With the upcoming launch of the BLOMY token and enticing gameplay features, players can look forward to a dynamic and rewarding environment. Keep an eye on Blockchemy as it continues to evolve and expand, offering exciting opportunities for gamers and crypto enthusiasts alike.
